If you still have to decide which dessert to prepare for this holiday, my nut and chocolate cake could be an idea for making a simple, good and chocolaty dessert. In reality I wanted to prepare a simple walnut cake to be able to taste again a cake I had eaten in Trentino several years ago and which, even without chocolate, had an amazing taste, but neither in the recipe books I have at home nor on the internet I found something that I convincing, so I opted for this variant with chocolate, very good! So if you have some recipe for a nut cake without chocolate that is soft and moist, go ahead. Kisses to those who pass by and have a good day.
How to make a nut and chocolate cake
In a thick-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate
Whip the egg yolks with the sugar, then add the melted butter with the melted cuoccolato
Mix everything well then add the flour and baking powder and mix everything well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Also add the chopped walnuts to the chocolate chips
Finally, stir in the whipped egg whites
pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake pan and cook in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Check the cooking, do the toothpick test; when the cake is ready, turn it upside down on a serving dish
Once cooled, sprinkle the walnut cake with icing sugar, garnish with a few walnuts and serve
