Chocolate trees

The butter is mixed with the sugar until a homogeneous and creamy composition is obtained and the sugar is dissolved.

Add the oil, vanilla essence and egg, stirring constantly until smooth.

Finally add the flour mixed with the starch and cocoa and mix at low speed until all the ingredients are incorporated. (Because the flour started to fly everywhere, I put the mixer aside and took the dough in my hand, turned it over on a baking sheet and kneaded it well with both hands for about 2 minutes, until uniformized.)

Spread a 1 cm sheet (or as you wish) and cut the biscuits with whatever shapes you want.

Bake for 10 minutes at 175 degrees. Keep an eye on them so you don't burn them.

Remove and leave to cool, then decorate according to your preferences. I melted the white chocolate and decorated them, then sprinkled decorative sugar ornaments on top.

They are very healthy and go great even on the Christmas table! Look how easy it is to prepare some figs filled with nuts, a delicacy wrapped in a layer of chocolate with biscuits and a chocolate icing with hazelnuts, which melts in your mouth.

Method of preparation

Put the milk and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Leave until the butter melts, then put the pan aside and let the mixture cool.
We grind the biscuits (we used Petit beure), we put them in a bowl and we mix them with cocoa. Pour the melted butter with the milk and mix well. If the biscuit bread is not well moistened, add a little more milk.
Spread baking paper on the bottom of a removable tray (24 cm in diameter) and put the biscuit composition in it. I also covered its walls with food foil. Level nicely with a spoon, pressing lightly so that no gaps remain. We can also press with the bottom of a glass. Until we prepare the creams, we shape them in the fridge.
White cream:
Put the milk over the gelatin granules and let them hydrate for at least 10 minutes.
Break the chocolate into squares, put it in a metal / glass bowl and pour the milk over it. We melt it on a steam bath, proceeding as follows: we place the bowl on top of a bowl in which we put water. the bottom of the bowl must not touch the water in the bowl. When the water in the pot starts to boil, reduce the heat to low and stir continuously in the chocolate until it melts. When ready, add hydrated gelatin and mix well to melt. If there are still gelatin granules, heat the composition a little more on a steam bath. In a bowl put the mascarpone cheese together with the cottage cheese. I used cow's cheese in the Pilos brand bucket. Add the chocolate sauce and mix until smooth. Put the whipped cream in the mixer bowl or in another bowl. The whipped cream must be very cold, to stay in the fridge overnight. We start to mix the whipped cream, and when it starts to become creamy we add the sugar. Mix it a little more until it becomes firm, then gradually incorporate the cheese and chocolate mixture, mixing at low speed.
Brown cream:
Proceed in the same way as for the white cream, only add a spoonful of cocoa to the cheese mixture

Remove the crusty form from the fridge and put two tablespoons of white cream in the middle. Place two tablespoons of brown cream over it and so on until we finish the creams. While forming the layers, gently shake the shape and shake it so that the cream goes to its sides. At the end, on the surface of the creams we draw lines with the toothpick (back and forth), then we shape the cake in the fridge overnight. The next day we carefully remove the ring from the form, then transfer the cake to a plate. I had a few small chocolate hearts with meat I garnished on top. Cut the cake with a sharp knife and wash after each cut. It looks good, doesn't it. the taste is wonderful, I guarantee you! J

Sweet and fragrant moments

Well, because Santa Claus tried several truffle recipes (Cognac and cinnamon flavored truffles and Cognac and coffee flavored truffles) I present a new composition, this time with whiskey flavor, which took shape some cute Christmas trees.

Show them all. We didn't pose too many, because we had an appetite for the other truffles and. they were devoured before being immortalized.

150g sweet biscuits - Petit beurre
two tablespoons mix of candied citrus peels (from trade or from the pantry!)
10pcs. hazelnuts lightly browned and ground
30g dark chocolate
30ml liquid cream
a teaspoon of cocoa
a tablespoon of powdered sugar
a tablespoon of whiskey
cocoa for powdering
colored candies for decoration

First I crumbled the biscuits, chopped the hazelnuts and placed them in a bowl, then I added two tablespoons of candied citrus peel mix and mixed them lightly.
I put the whipped cream in a bowl to heat over low heat, then I added the chopped chocolate and stirred until it melted.

After it cooled, I added the mixture of cream and chocolate over the biscuits and I mixed the composition. I added a teaspoon of cocoa and a tablespoon of powdered sugar, vanilla and whiskey. I homogenized again and let it cool completely.

After it cooled, I took a teaspoon of the composition, formed cones like fir trees, which I rolled in cocoa and placed on a plate. I then decorated the fir trees with pearly candies as seen in the picture.

They turned out delicious, so I will definitely repeat the Christmas recipe, when I will experiment with other forms of decoration.

Cupcakes- Decorated Christmas trees

The winter holidays are fast approaching, which is why we try to bring to the site, new recipes, quick and tasty only good to prepare for those who are full of ideas or those who want to involve the little ones in the preparations for holidays.
Today I propose these cupcakes - decorated fir trees, they are extremely easy to make, and can be decorated with the little ones, they will certainly be very happy to help you.
The cupcakes have a fluffy texture, slightly moist, with an intense cocoa taste. The cream is prepared from mascarpone -Delaco, powdered sugar and vanilla.
I made the decoration in tune with the holidays, these little fir trees came out, adorned with colored lights, made of colored candies and chocolate.
Below you will find the recipe for 6-7 cupcakes & hellipdar I recommend doubling or tripling the recipe because they disappear in the blink of an eye.

Cupcakes- decorated ornaments- Ingredient

1 or
60 ml whipped milk
60 ml oil
60 ml of hot water
65 g flour
100 g of sugar
25 g cocoa
& frac12 teaspoon baking powder

a sachet of bourbon vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt

Mascarpone cream
125 g mascarpone-Delaco
125 g old powder
vanilla essence
30 g dark chocolate
colored candies

Recipe cupcakes - decorated fir trees

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, bourbon vanilla sugar, salt.
In another bowl put the egg, oil, whipped milk and mix with the mixer for 2 minutes.

Combine the two compositions, mix, then add hot water and mix. The composition will come out a little more liquid, but that's the way it should be !!
Place the papers in a cupcake tray and place the composition to cover three quarters of the shape.

Cupcakes - decorated fir trees are baked in the preheated oven (ventilation) at 150 & degC for 25 minutes. Remove and allow to cool before decorating.

The cold mascarpone is put in a bowl, the powdered sugar is sifted through a fine sieve, then it is mixed at high speed until the cream becomes fluffy, it is flavored with vanilla essence, then it is put in a pos with a serrated or simple tip.
Decorate each cupcake with a spiral-shaped hazelnut.
Make a sound of melted chocolate and stick the colored candies imitating the lights.

They are delicious and appreciated by both adults and children!

How to make a smoothie with chocolate peanut butter

First, I combined all the ingredients (except ice) in a blender and mixed it smoothly.

Second, I stopped him and then, again, I added crushed ice.

After that, I mixed it around again.

How do we melt chocolate for cakes?

The technique for melting chocolate is not a complicated one, but you have to be careful with a few aspects so as not to spoil its texture. The most important thing is not to leave any drop of water near the melted chocolate, otherwise the taste and density will suffer. So try to wipe the spoon and bowls you will use well and make sure your hands are dry. The steps you need to follow are quite simple.

You can start with a dark chocolate bar, which you can cut into smaller pieces with a serrated knife. If it is smaller, the chocolate will melt more easily. Another option is to grate the tablet.

Put the chocolate pieces in a large, heat-resistant bowl and place in the oven, either on gas, electric or microwave. Set it at a medium temperature and leave the bowl for 1 minute. Then carefully remove it and mix the chocolate. Repeat the process as the temperature gradually rises. Try to check the cream as often as possible and mix it. When the chocolate is completely melted, remove the bowl from the oven, otherwise the cream will lose its consistency.

If you want to perform the melting process on the stove, heat water in a saucepan and let it boil. Then place the heat-resistant bowl in which the pieces of chocolate are placed on top of the pan. Its size must cover the entire diameter of the pan, so that the steam does not leak. Moreover, check if the boiling water reaches the bottom of the bowl and pour it if necessary.

Stir while the chocolate pieces melt and do not leave the bowl on top of the pan longer than necessary. It is preferable to melt chocolate to be added to dessert when hot.

  • 120 g household chocolate
  • 125 g butter
  • 225 g sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 10 g dry yeast

Method of preparation:

Melt the household chocolate and butter in a bain marie, remove from the heat and add the sugar, eggs and flour sifted with yeast. Mix everything very well, until a creamy composition is obtained. Pour the composition into fir shapes, decorate with quarters of almond kernels and place them in a tray lined with special baking foil.

Put it in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Remove the firs from the molds when they have cooled and dust them with sugar.

Chocolate Fir Trees - Recipes

The holidays are approaching and the time is coming for these Christmas trees that I really like and look very good among the Christmas sweets.
I have been asked many times about the recipe of these fir trees. I don't have a specific recipe for them. usually when on holidays I make several kinds of cakes, to look good I straighten their edges, then I put those edges in a bowl and mix them with ground walnut, cocoa, rum to taste, crushed biscuits, melted butter to link the composition. knead them all and add powdered sugar to taste.
From this composition you can make candies in which a cherry is placed in the middle and then they are given through walnut or coconut, I like to make these fir trees instead of candies.
I don't know where the shape is, mine is very old, I got it from my mother. it's like a glass with streaks inside and at the end it has a hole, I sprinkle caster sugar in it, I put a piece of it in the composition, I press and then I blow a little through that hole or I knock it on the table to get the fir tree out.

I'm going to write a candy recipe from an older sweets book, they're called cocoa truffles and I say they can be made into fir trees. I haven't tried the recipe but it can help someone.

500 g biscuits, 400 g nuts, 100 g cocoa, 4 eggs, 500 g powdered sugar, 200 g butter, rum, cherries, 150 ml water.
Rub eggs with sugar, add cocoa and water, then put on the fire and stir continuously until the composition thickens. After thickening, remove from the heat, put the butter, ground nuts and crushed biscuits and mix well. , at the end add rum to taste.
The composition is put in the cold and after it has hardened, candies the size of a walnut are formed, in which a cherry is placed. It is powdered with cocoa or given through walnut or coconut.

The fir trees are very good. Before removing the firs from the form, you can make a small hole in the base, in which you put a little cream - butter with powdered sugar - then cover with the composition. I haven't seen any shapes to buy, I know that in the past they were made in lathes at different factories.

It looks insane, but it's a shame I don't have such shapes.
